After looking back so many times on photos I have taken in Southeast Asia and Africa, I realized that the subject of the images won’t ever have a chance to see these pictures of themselves. With this in mind, I raised funds through Kickstarter and was able to carry out a project at a children’s home in Belize. I used the money to buy a 4x6 portable printer and photo albums. Each day after shooting at the children’s home, located in Belmopan, I printed photos and put together albums of prints. At the end of the week long stay, I gave each child their album with photos to keep. I am currently in the preliminary planning stages to go to another children’s home or orphanage in Central America.
