This is a sampling of portraits, life on the field, and scenery in Central Asia. My first photography experiences were taking portraits of people and that is what interested me the most. Living in a foreign country where my communication is hindered, I found that connecting with the people was much more difficult. I’m expanding into scenery and have enjoyed the artfulness of that as well. In the mean time, full time language studies are underway.

After running a portrait photography business in the Colorado mountains, God called me to give it up and to live and work among the people of Southern Russia. My husband helps the local community by providing business training and consultation for people trying to start new businesses. The photography passion has been stirring in me for the last 4 years and I'm ready to find ways to use my gift to serve and benefit the people here.
